I heard an amazing story the other day from someone who visited Kfar Chabad for Shabbos.

A few years ago we did a radio interview for Arutz Sheva. When asked about interesting prayers, I said that someone had just sponsored us to do 2 rounds of 40-days for the release of Gilad Shalit. That year Gilad was miraculously released. I felt a wink from Above.

On the other side of Israel, this is what was happening.

Rebbetzin Chana Kanterman, the wife of a Chabad shliach, once received a dollar bill from the Lubavitcher Rebbe. When she came to visit the mother of Gilad Shalit, she decided to give her the dollar she received from the Rebbe to give her chizuk that her son would eventually return.

After Gilad was released, his mother texted Chana and asked her on what date the Rebbe had given her the dollar.

“I don’t remember,” said the Rebbetzin, “why do you ask?”

Written on the dollar was the date, the 20th of Tishrei, 5751.

“Do you know on what date my son was released?” Replied Mrs. Shalit. “The 20th of Tishrei – exactly 21 years after the Rebbe gave you the dollar that you passed onto me”.

2 winks from Above.

So speaking of miracles…

Chanukah is coming!!!
8 lights. 8 nights.

We just passed 2 Neilahs – one on Yom Kippur and the other on Hoshanah Raba. Now as we approach the 3rd – Zos Chanukah, we look around and see – where are we vis-a-vis Rosh Hashanah. Are we still on course? Did we veer off?

If so, let’s veer right back quick!

40 days before Zos Chanukah starts on November 1, 2018.

We are excited as we transition from darkness to light, both in the physical realm and please G-d in our personal struggles.

We will be there for you at the Kotel – the very place where the miracle of Chanukah took place over 2,000 years ago! The source of all the excitement…
This is your opportunity to connect to it!

Pray for me for the 40 days until the Final Neilah!

With blessings for revealed light and miracles in your life and in the life of all of Am Yisroel,

Batya
